BoardWalk

I checked into upgrading our television package when I went to directtv.com/choiceextra. There were really some great deals and I was able to upgrade my package to get HBO for a lot less expensive than I thought I would be able to. All of my friends were talking about this show that comes on HBO called “Boardwalk Empire”. They were talking about it so much, I felt like I had to get HBO to keep up with what was going on. I started watching it and caught up with episodes that I had missed. I absolutely love the show. It is a drama that is based in the 1920’s. It is about bootlegging and politics in Atlantic City. All of the costuming is great and accurate to the period ( I love twenties clothes). The sets are also beautifully done. The show is addictive. It is directed by Martin Scorcese and produced by Mark Whalberg, no wonder it is a great show! I just wish I started watching and was able to enjoy it sooner!

Staying at Home

Thanks for the post from Sylvester Campbell
Staying home for the summer just wasn’t an option for my kids because I knew they’d get bored after about the first 20 minutes here at the house. I love them to death but they’ve all got the attention spans of Jack Russell Terriers and I needed more time to plan than I had on my hands! Luckily my mother said she’d take them for three weeks which they loved since she lives at the lake. They spend their days on the boat or on her internet she got through one of thoseWild Blue Deals in Dover Tennessee and they always come home ready to sleep for a week. I’m planning another camping vacation for us since it will be cheap and I know they’ve all been talking about going to Vacation Bible School which will be really nice. Whatever they do I just hope I find something to keep them out of my hair since I’m used to running this place on my own and without any little ones under my feet!

George Clooney Returned To ER

Posted by Von Battle
When I think about guest performances on television shows I always like the ones that have surprised me. When actress Julianna Margulies was leaving the TV show ER I was sad, because her character Carol had always been one of my favorites.

I had been disappointed when George Clooney left the show a few years earlier. So, it was a wonderful surprise that when she went to join him in Seattle, he was there to greet her. It made me feel better knowing that the two of them would be together.

I've always been a fan of George Clooney's and when he came back to do the cameo on ER he really had become a big star. I liked the fact that he was loyal to the show that gave him his start. He played Dr. Ross and I became a fan of his while he w! as starring on the show.

When ER was in its last season, both Julianna Margulies and George Clooney returned as their characters for one last episode. It involved a kidney transplant for John Carter, another popular character on the show. Carol and Doug were there to help him get it.

I watched these episodes of ER on my Satellite TV deals, which I love the convenience of and I can't remember what it was like to watch TV without it.

Christina Aguilera butchers the national anthem

Worst performance of the national anthem ever, or worst performance ever in the entire history of performances?

you be the judge.
